I'm no Chicken....

Cook, that is. I have such a hard time cooking chicken?! I don't get it?! For some reason I always seem to either end up with "blackened" chicken or it's just not quite done. UGH! I really enjoy eating it, I just don't know why I can't seem to find a good way to make it. Steak I can do, veggies, bread made from scratch...I've got it down. Chicken, however, seems to be the bane of my cooking life.

I was making it last night and ended up with a smokey house. So, I invite everyone, if you have some good ones, please share your chicken cooking tips with me. Poor Fred can't take much more of it! =)

Oh Sarah! I can't believe you can't do chicken. It is SO easy!
1. pick the kind you want...BBQ, Lemon, plain roasted, fried

2. Go to Walmart SuperCenter for the BBQ or the lemon. It is usually right up by the front deli section (usually can pick up some warm french bread at the same time)

or...if you want fried..head over to KFC!

geezz...

How is your oven temperature? That might be one consideration.

Okay - Baked Chicken:
Rub a rimmed cookie sheet with butter
Heat oven to 375
Get some chicken legs and thighs
Put a mixture of wheat flour, a tsp of garlic salt and a tsp of paprika into a bag. Put you rinsed chocken in the bag and shake.
Place pieces on sheet, bake 20 min. Flip pieces over (mine always stick a little, but not a big deal)
Cook 15-20 more minutes.
Yum!
